Ulonja,(“Loni”) is a 2001 dark bay mare, 16.3 hh, KWPN. She has a rectangular build, with a fluid and uphill movement. She has the talent to be a very successful dressage horse or jumper. In 2008 we competed Loni in dressage, then moved her to hunter/jumping in 2009. Loni is also showing great improvement over fences and has been shown at 3’3”.
At the 2008 Win-A-Gin Dressage Schooling Show, her first show, Loni consistently scored in the mid 60’s and placed 2nd in three First Level Tests. She received high marks on her gaits and obedience.
At the 2009 Dressage at Waterloo Spring Classic, Loni’s first major show, she was Champion of the First Level-Open. Over the three days, Loni consistently placed at the top of their First Level test with four 1st’s and one 3rd place finish. Her scores ranged from 68 to 72.
In late September 2009, Loni competed at the University of Findlay Mini-Prix where she knocked down only one rail at the last jump, a triple, and over a long course.
This spring Loni attended a jumper schooling show at Albion College where she showed in 2'9" the first day and showed 3'-3'3" on the second day and placed 2nd.
Loni’s dam sire (Indoctro) is ranked as one of the top 10 jumper stallions in the World. He had three offspring competing in the Olympic games in 2008 and his offspring compete in major Grand Prix’s around the world: Black Ice, Casadora, Don Porifirio, Maddock, Youp, Nassau, Orame, VDL Masserati, and many others. Indoctro passes his jumping genes, good conformation and good movement. Indoctro has an exceptional jumping index of 141.
Loni’s sire, Hold-up Premier, is a product of Narcos II and Quidam de Revel. Both these stallions jumped internationally and are guaranteed producers with many top offspring. Currently, Hold-up Premier is jumping at international level and has won several 1.40 m and 1.50 m classes, like in Rotterdam, Frankfurt, Zuidlaren and Goes. He was 2nd in the Derby of Valkenswaard and 4th in the Derby’s of Eindhoven and Lummen, 6th in the Sires of the World in Lanaken and 8th in the Derby of La Baule.
