2003 imported mare by French Buffet out of Alonie by Nimmerdor. Walonie has a kind disposition and would be a very good horse for an amateur rider looking for a quiet, reliable jumping horse.
She is currently working under saddle, started over fences, doing very well on cavelletti. Walonie is making good progress on flatwork with a well balanced walk, trot, canter. She is working on changes and suppleness. She likes to jump and would perform very well in the hunter ring. She is training at Level 1. She is targeted for local training shows this winter.
Walonie’s dam sire, Nimmerdor, is the KWPN jumper stallion of the century. He had 18 KWPN approved sons, as there are Ahorn, Wellington, Goodtimes, Heartbreaker; and his 39 approved KWPN grandsons, as there are Emilion, Farrington, Glennridge, Kalusha, Londontimes, Matterhorn, Ohorn, Pacific, Radisson and Sydney. Across the whole world Nimmerdor has more than 40 approved stallions. Next to it Nimmerdor brought many national and international jumping horses.
Walonie’s sire, French Buffett, is a thoroughbred stallion that was quite successful as a Grand Prix horse in South America and Europe. He produces easy to ride, long lined foals with good movement.
