2004 filly by Navarone out of Rarusa, an Indoctro mare. The Grand Prix riders who have seen her are very impressed with her jumping potential. Zarusa is coming along very well in her flatwork and is doing low jumps under saddle. She is very powerful and has good form going through the jump chute. She has well developed gaits. Zarusa has an outstanding potential as a jumper or hunter. The combination of Zarusa’s great work ethic and athletic ability will make her a very successful competitor in the upper level jumping, equitation and hunter. She is easy and fun to work with.
Her mother, Rarusa, has produced exceptional foals for us. When Rarusa was evaluated as a Keur mare she received the highest set of overall scores for dressage and jumper horses—second in movement and third in jumping. One of Zarusa’s siblings was rated the number one colt as a two year old, by KWPN judges. Another of Zarusa's siblings was the number two KWPN-NA jumper foal in 2006. Zarusa received a second premium in her three-year-old mare evaluation at the 2007 Keuring.
Zarusa’s sire, Navarone, is out of Jus de Pomme, a two time Olympic gold medalist in jumping. Interestingly, Navarone, who won 1st prize in his stallion competition, is competing as a top level dressage horse in North America. He has a jumping index of 126.
